Whether you’re dealing with an impacted tooth, gum swelling, or a dental abscess, our experienced team provides fast diagnosis and gentle extraction to relieve your pain.

You may need wisdom tooth extraction if you’re experiencing:

  • Ongoing pain or discomfort in the back of your mouth
  • Gum swelling or infection (pericoronitis)
  • Jaw stiffness or difficulty opening your mouth
  • Decay or damage in the wisdom tooth or neighbouring molars
  • Signs of cysts, abscess, or repeated infection

We’ll assess whether extraction is necessary and explain your options clearly.

Simple Extraction. If the tooth has fully erupted and is easy to access — often done under local anesthetic in one visit.

Surgical Extraction. For impacted or partially erupted teeth — may involve a small incision in the gum and gentle sectioning of the tooth.

Wisdom Tooth Removal

No — we use local anaesthesia to completely numb the area. You may feel pressure, but not pain. We also support nervous patients with a calm, caring approach.

Most extractions take 20–40 minutes, depending on how complex the case is. Simple extractions are quicker, while surgical cases may take slightly longer.

Sometimes. If your wisdom tooth was impacted or surgically removed, we may place a few dissolvable stitches to help with healing. We’ll explain everything in advance.

We usually recommend taking at least 1–2 days off to rest. For surgical extractions, you might need up to 3 days depending on how you feel.

Avoid:

  • Hot drinks and alcohol
  • Smoking or vaping
  • Spitting or rinsing hard (for the first 24 hours)
  • Using a straw
These can cause bleeding or dry socket. We’ll give full aftercare instructions.

We may prescribe antibiotics first to settle the infection before extraction. Removing an infected tooth too early can increase the risk of complications.

No. We accept both new and existing patients for emergency and planned wisdom tooth extractions — no referral needed.
